Dr Emily Lai is a passionate General Practitioner who started her career in 2018 after graduating from The University of Melbourne. She has worked in many fields of medicine in the public health sector gaining valuable experience in Emergency Medicine, Women’s Health and Children’s Health. She has also gained further experience in rural medicine through her work in East Gippsland and the Mornington Peninsula. Since completing her training in General Practice she has also worked as a Medical educator with General Practice Academy.
What Emily loves most about being a GP is that she can be part of a patient’s health journey and deliver holistic and practical patient care. During her spare time, she enjoys hiking, exploring new places and spending time with her nieces.
