After beginning her medical career in Brisbane, Dr McLaren ventured abroad to work in London before returning to settle in Melbourne and specialise in General Practice.
In recent years, Dr McLaren has undergone further training to pursue her interests including the completion of both a 6 month post at the Melbourne Sexual Health Centre and an Advanced Certificate in Skin Cancer Medicine.
Whilst she enjoys all areas of community medicine, she has a particular passion for menopause, sexual health and palliative care, as well as minor procedures including skin biopsies and excisions, Implanon insertions and iron infusions.
