Dr Asha Ford graduated from Bachelor of Applied Science (Biomedical Science) at RMIT University in 2007 and in 2008 went on to complete her Honours year in the same field.
Subsequently, she studied a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at Monash University, graduating to obtain her medical degree in 2012.
Following medical school, Asha underwent internship and residency at Frankston and Rosebud Hospitals, gaining experience across a range of specialties, including two prevocational GP placements at Leongatha and Frankston, further cementing her passion for general practice.
She has since completed specialist GP training via the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and became a fellow of the college in 2017.
Asha grew-up and continues to live locally, she has been part of the team at Nillumbik and Research Medical Centres since 2016 and enjoys all aspects of general practice
