Dr Amanda Tan graduated from Monash University (MBBS) in 2014 and completed her first years as an intern and resident at St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne. During this time she had exposure to a wide range of specialities through her rotations in Emergency Medicine, General Medicine, Orthopaedics, General Surgery and Geriatric Medicine.
Keen to develop her passion for Women’s Health, Amanda worked for a year at The Royal Women’s Hospital, looking after women throughout their early pregnancy, antenatal obstetric appointments, labour, post-natal checks, gynaecology appointments and family planning.
She is excited to bring her experience and knowledge to the General Practice setting whilst continuing to learn and grow as a doctor at Nillumbik Medical Centre.
In her free time, Amanda likes eating, attempting to cook, and exploring Melbourne and its surrounds with friends and family.
