Dr Hugh Blackie – General Practitioner
Dr Hugh Blackie is a dedicated and compassionate general practitioner at Nillumbik Medical Centre. He completed a Bachelor of Science at the University of Melbourne in 2016, followed by a Doctor of Medicine in 2020. During his training at the Austin Hospital, Dr Blackie gained valuable experience across a variety of specialty rotations, further shaping his approach to patient care.
In 2024, Dr Blackie continued his commitment to high-quality, patient-centred healthcare, commencing his registrar training with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. He has a broad range of interests within general practice and welcomes patients of all ages.
Outside of medicine, Dr Blackie enjoys staying active with his dog, Heidi, as well as travelling, writing, and spending time with his family.
